Consultation and Smile Assessment

Custom Aligner Fabrication

Using the digital model, a series of custom aligners is fabricated to fit the patient's teeth precisely. Each aligner in the series is slightly different from the last, engineered to apply gentle, controlled pressure that moves the teeth incrementally toward their final position.

Wearing the Aligners

Patients wear each set of aligners for approximately one to two weeks before progressing to the next set in the series. Aligners should be worn for twenty to twenty-two hours per day for optimal results and are removed only for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing.

Progress Check Appointments

Periodic check-in appointments at River Park allow the dental team to monitor tooth movement, ensure treatment is progressing as planned, and address any questions or concerns. These visits are typically scheduled every six to eight weeks and are shorter than traditional orthodontic adjustment appointments.

Retention

Once the final aligner in the series has been worn and the teeth have reached their target positions, a retainer is provided to maintain the results. Wearing the retainer as directed is essential to preventing teeth from gradually shifting back toward their original positions over time.
